This meal is called the hungry hunter. It one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. Beats any fast food option, any restaurant. Makes places like first watch seem like a waste. I stopped here and got this on my way out of Colorado. If I ever make that trip again, I am going to go out of my way to go here.

Gave this place a try after reading so many positive reviews. In comparison to other restaurants along our route, it was a gamble we’re glad we took. There is nothing wrong with the atmosphere, just very “home-like,” which isn’t a bad thing. I don’t think people come here for the atmosphere. It was delicious and very peaceful. Just what we were looking for!

Real western atmosphere epic western scenery. This is not the place you want to pass by. Everything is homemade and fresh to order. From sweet tea to green chili, they serve staple Colorado food in a conveniently located eatery, in between Trinidad and Walsenburg.

This mom and pop cafe is a gem! If you are traveling through, stop in and don’t waste your time in Trinidad. Food was excellent, friendly staff and clean bathroom. I had chili cheese fries which were fresh cut fries with homemade green chili on top. Husband had pulled pork avocado burrito and it was smothered with green chili. Will stop again if we are traveling this route again.

While traveling up I25 it’s hard to find a good restaurant that’s not fast food. This is a hidden gem. Great food and service. We had the breakfast burrito and huevos rancheros with hot green chili. YUMMY treat!!

If you haven't eaten here, you definitely need to stop by and grab a smothered burger or the mexican burger. All the food is amazing, but those are my go to.

My family of 4 stopped to eat here while passing through town. It was so good! Sort of like a mom and pop diner atmosphere. Super friendly people with delicious food. I hope we get the chance to stop here again!
